- Informative article on the Hawaii timeshare industry and how it relates to our hotel sector. (4/22/11)

- Interesting analysis of the improving level of residential investment nationally and how this may indicate positive things to come. (4/20/2011)

- Here's a short update on Hawaii foreclosure data. The numbers aren't foolproof since lenders have had procedural issues, and the data source includes commercial property and timeshares. Also keep in mind that Oahu's foreclosure rate is lower than the state's total rate. (4/16/11)

- The March sales numbers for the Oahu real estate market have been released by the Honolulu Board of Realtors®. Here is a single-page set of charts showing the last 12 months of data. It was another mixed month. Sales numbers were up from last month but down year-over-year, median condo prices have been relatively stable but median home prices went down, inventory levels have been fairly steady and pending sales look good. Here are the full HBR stats for Oahu. Individual neighborhood data is available here and local coverage of the latest data can be found here and here. (4/7/11)

- Hawaii hotel occupancy and rates continue to increase, but the effects of events in Japan are lowering the 2011 forecasts. (4/4/11)
