- The sales figures for October for the Oahu real estate market have been released by the Honolulu Board of Realtors®. Here is a single-page set of charts showing the last 12 months of data. It was a neutral-to-positive month. The median home price pulled back a little from the previous month, but is still much higher than a year ago. The condo median price has been relatively even lately, but the combined three-month moving average for both property types was another record. Sales volume for homes dropped a little, most likely due to low inventory, but condo sales volume picked for the second month in a row. Inventory was relatively unchanged from the previous month, and pending sales volume is very strong. (11/6/20)

- As Hawaii slowly opens up to visitors again, here's something that fits the mood. It's a rather tropical version of a very old hit with a slight Craig Chaquico vibe. (11/1/20)
