(11/11/18) - The sales figures for October for the Oahu real estate market have been released by the Honolulu Board of Realtors®. Here is a single-page set of charts showing the last 12 months of data. It was a very mixed month. Sales volume for homes was unchanged from last month, but condos had a large drop in number. But, when compared to last year, they both had a sizeable reduction. The number of days-on-market for both property types jumped significantly. The median homes price dropped a little from last month's record, but is still up nicely from 12 months ago. The condo median price had an oddly large reduction compared to both last month and a year ago. We'll see next month if the condo data is just one-month anomaly or not. One would expect more similarity between both property types. Inventory inched up a little, and pending sales volume looks like there may be another small decrease in November compared to October, and a large drop again compared to a year ago. Here are the full HBR stats for Oahu. Individual neighborhood data will be released in the middle of the month.
