- The March sales numbers for the Oahu real estate market have been released by the Honolulu Board of Realtors®. Here is a single-page set of charts showing the last 12 months of data. It was an all-around positive month. Both median prices and sales volume were higher than last month, and higher than one-year ago, for both property types. Condo sales and median prices would be even higher if the recent closings for the sold out Holomua condo were included. Inventory went up slightly and pending sales volume looks strong. This all fits the normal pattern as one heads into summer. Here are the full HBR stats for Oahu. Individual neighborhood data will be released in the middle of the month. (4/8/13)

- Hawaii may tax property owners with septic systems. (4/4/13)

- Regarding this months icon, around 80% of the time, Easter is in April. This year was one of the times when it's in March - a belated Happy Easter! (4/2/13)
