(2/25/19) - Kona Village on the Big Island, damaged by a tsunami in 2011, has announced it renovation and reopening plans. (2/20/19) - HBR has released the January neighborhood data here. (2/16/19) - Happy Valentine's Day! (2/14/19) - The January sales numbers for the Oahu real estate market have been released by the Honolulu Board of Realtors®. Here is a single-page set of charts showing the last 12 months of data. It was a slightly negative month. Most of the sales volume, and median price, data points were down from both the previous month and a year ago. This may be just a single-month winter anomaly, or something more. Time will tell. Inventory increased a sizeable amount, possibly indicating a more balanced market. Pending sales volume again appears to be in line with the current market activity.
